3. Jordan Marshall RB

If Marshall is as good as advertised then he'll get on the gridiron sooner rather than later. He has the most competition to deal with though. The Michigan way is to work your way up the ladder and prove you can stay there with even harder work. Look no further then those who preceded him in the maize and blue uniform.

No one would be surprised if he got a look in the non-conference schedule against Fresno State and Arkansas State based on what we've seen in the past. To pluck an Ohio Mr. Football away from Ohio State is a huge coup for the future of recruiting, especially in that battleground state. He finished his high school career as the all-time leading rusher and now has his sights set on doing more of that in Ann Arbor.

Marshall joins one of the nation's most revered groups at the running back position. Almost everyone could start somewhere else, but they must want to be the first running back Heisman winner since Tom Harmon was over 80 years ago. Marshall has about as good as an oppurtunity as anyone in the country has of doing so.

The offensive scheme fits Marshall's strength's, but will he stick around like Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards did to become a household name? His running backs coach is gone, but he remained with the Wolverines. Will he do so after a season where he might not get enough playing time to his liking?
