Last year very few expected Semaj Morgan to crack the lineup and now one year later he's considered a starter for Michigan football. There are a couple of freshman who could do the same in 2025. Below this are four names who are bound to see the field because of their lofty expectations and thin depth chart in some areas of the revitalized offense.

1. Andrew Sprague OT

Sprague has been considered as Michigan's top offensive recruit by some recruiting services. He appears primed to be the next left tackle of the future. He has future all-American written all over him with his 6'7'' frame. He'll battle with incoming freshman like Blake Frazier, Luke Hamilton and Ben Roebuck to burst on to the scene as quickly as possible.

Sprague could realistically be in the two deep by the end of the season. With Myles Hinton moving on after 2024, he'll be in the mix for the starting left tackle position in 2025. He won't be handed the keys that easily though, like everyone else he'll have to earn it. Sprague may be the leader in the clubhouse when the time comes, on his prowess alone.

Sprague played in the All-American bowl in January and lined up primarily on the right side. He was teammates with Michigan's most touted recruit on the defensive side of things who could see action in 2024 as well and that's Jo'Ziah Edmond.
