Another piece to a stellar class
Michigan football doesn't have a huge recruiting class and that hurts the team recruiting ranking a little but the Wolverines are up to No. 12 overall in the 2025 class according to 247 Sports.
Marsh is the fourth top-100 commitment for Michigan football. The rankings updated again and Andrew Olesh dropped down to No. 102 overall. Still, Michigan has six in the top 159 and among that group are a tight end, a wide receiver, and a quarterback.
When you consider that Michigan football landed another quarterback in the top 125 in the 2024 class, as well as a top-100 running back and you can see that the Wolverines have actually recruited quite well on the offensive side of the ball, especially considering their ability to develop offensive lineman.
Under Sherrone Moore, Michigan has really turned a corner on the trail. Washington came in strong with NIL and the Wolverines were still able to come out on top. That's because NIL is in a different place.
The 2025 class might not be in the top 10 due to numbers, but the 2026 class should be stellar, and with 13 blue-chip recruits out of 17, including six in the top 159 and 16 in the top 500, Michigan is doing exactly what it needs to on the recruiting trail.
