3 thoughts going into Victors Weekend for Michigan football

Michigan football is hosting 17 official visitors this weekend and here are three thoughts on a huge couple of days for recruiting.

Elite visitors

The Wolverines have a few elite prospects on campus. One of them is Nate Marshall, a current Michigan football commitment, which we will talk about in a second.

However, there are blue-chip prospects such as Andrew Marsh, a top-50 overall prospect in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings, visiting, along with four-star safety Ivan Taylor, a Notre Dame commitment, and top-5 tight end Andrew Olesh.

Olesh has Penn State as his leader according to the On3 prediction machine going into this weekend, but there is confidence on the Michigan side of things. U-M should also feel confident with Marsh, who is visiting Michigan football for the second time in a few weeks.

That's a positive thing with a recruit from outside the region. It's been a while since Michigan landed a top-50 wideout and that's why I'll be keeping a close eye on Marsh this weekend.
