3. The quarterback competition appears to be Alex Orji's to lose

Davis Warren is getting the most reps to go toe-to-toe with Orji, but Orji is still considered the favorite. Both should play against Fresno State, while Jack Tuttle is still working through an injury that kept him out of the spring, based on what Dave Revsine noticed.

Coach Kirk Campbell or Moore didn't give a resounding response, but it is really just a matter of time until the inevitable happens. There was also a rumor going around that Orji started in a scrimmage with the ones. This final week before Fresno State enters the Big House should provide some final resolution before the official announcement is made by coach Moore. Based off of what the coaches are saying, they'll be prepared for any situation that arises.

They didn't mention anything about Jadyn Davis or any other newcomers on the scene. So this team and season will be graded by how Orji plays and who they beat. They have to start from scratch again and work like they didn't win a national championship in 2023.
