2. The offensive line should not regress

As long as Sherrone Moore is in Ann Arbor, Michigan's offensive line should always be one of the best in the country. Grant Newsome has taken over the coaching duties and he is being praised as the next man up in the coaching ranks.

"Athletic" was a word that was described for this year's version. Giovanni El-Hadi has been talked about as a riser during camp so far. That doesn't come as a surprise as we have seen him succeed in the starting lineup just two years ago.

There wasn't any mention of the right tackle battle, but there was a report that Evan Link is pushing for a role. That's refreshing to know as the group will need all the help it can get as it replaces six jumbos who departed last season.

To expect them to overachieve more than the last three years might be wishful thinking though. They'll have their growing pains and need time to gel just like everyone else, but they do get the advantage of facing arguably the top defensive line in the country daily.
