As sensational as the feeling last week was for Michigan football, it's time to move on to the next challenge. P.J. Fleck and Minnesota will bring a fearless attitude into Michigan stadium to try and reclaim the little brown jug. The Gophers haven't won in Ann Arbor since 2014. The Wolverines can't afford a letdown before they take to the sky for their first road trip of 2024.

Here are three things we want to see from Michigan football against the Golden Gophers on Saturday.

1. For Alex Orji to throw for more than 100 yards

This is the most obvious thing that everyone wants to see. Minnesota's defense is not as scrutinized as USC's, so this is not out of the realm of possibility of getting done, but don't I wouldn't expect it to get magically fixed either in one day. For starters, a healthy Colston Loveland would help. He would open things up for the running game even more.

With more in-game experience Orji should grow and the passing game could evolve beyond what we saw in his first career start.

Last week Iowa passed for only 62 yards, so that could be a similar outcome Saturday in the Big House. Nevada was the only school to pass for over 100 yards on Minnesota's pass defense through the first four games. The Gophers rank second in the nation by only allowing a measly 100 yards a game. That stat is a tad misleading though.
