3 recruits who could commit soon to Michigan football
Michigan football is in the midst of a drought in terms of commitments. Their last commitment came January 4th in the form of Tennessee tight end Eli Owens. Since then, obviously, a lot has changed. The Wolverines have won a national championship and seen a complete overhaul of the staff.
A large portion of the recruiting board was essentially reset, with the new coaches looking to create their own boards. We are about three months into Sherrone Moore's tenure, and we are in the beginning of the recruiting season. Tons of elite prospects have been visiting Ann Arbor, and the Wolverines have made huge impressions on many.
While NIL remains a question, there is optimism that the Wolverines could land a couple commitments before the end of April. With that said, lets take a look at three prospects who should be on commitment watch.
Four Star WR Taz Williams (TX)
Williams, who is originally from Pennsylvania, has received some predictions to Michigan recently, and the Wolverines seem to have all the momentum right now. Williams is similar to the receivers that Michigan football has on the roster. He's around 6 feet and is more of a speedy receiver as opposed to a jump ball guy.
Williams was set to be on campus this weekend, and a good visit here could earn Michigan football a commitment. Ron Bellamy has been working tirelessly in this recruitment, and Williams would be an excellent start to this wide receiver class.
Michigan is in need of a good/great wide receiver class this cycle, and Williams would be a great fit for the Wolverines. This is definitely one to watch over the next few days. Look for any intel about Williams' visit.
