3 reasons to feel good about the Michigan football offense

The offense might be a concern for some Michigan football fans but here are three reasons to be confident in the Wolverines offense in 2024.

An elite running game

You might think this was already mentioned when I talked about the offensive line, but the offensive line is going to be an asset for the running backs, quarterbacks, and pass catchers.

However, the O-line will spearhead what I expect to be an elite running game for Michigan football. I have a ton of faith in Edwards. He looked more patient and more physical in the spring.

Edwards seems to have more confidence and now that he's the guy, I have no doubt he'll produce. Just look at what he did in 2022 when he was RB1 while Blake Corum was out.

Edwards can have that kind of impact this season. But Mullings is a stellar back too. He even flashed his ability as a pass catcher last season and will produce in a bigger role, plus I feel like we'll hear from Jordan Marshall, too.

Beyond that, pairing the running ability of Orji with Edwards and the other Michigan football running backs, behind what should be one of the best offensive lines in the Big Ten, should be lethal for opponents and that's another reason to feel good about the U-M offense with the season right around the corner.
