3 Michigan Football players with the most to prove/most pressure on them in 2024
By Nick Popio
There's nowhere to go once you've reached the summit in college football unless you're Michigan football. They still are hungry for more and will do everything in their power to repeat this unprecedented success. It's going to be survival of the fittest, but the Wolverines are not content with just one championship.
Here's three guys who have the unenviable distinction of having the most to prove in the fall to help repeat.
1. Myles Hinton
Hinton has the hardest job on the offensive line at left tackle to do. He has to protect the blindside of Alex Orji or whoever the quarterback is going to be. He struggled at the beginning of last season when he got the shot to be on the left side, but found his footing towards the end of the season when he helped open up the floodgates for Donovan Edwards to score touchdowns in the national championship game on the right side.
Hinton doesn't have to be like Taylor Lewan or Jake Long. He just has to be serviceable like LaDarius Henderson was a year ago and solidified the line. Hinton is blessed with god's gifts to be a first-round pick if he plays like he was labeled to be coming out of high school. He'll have an experienced guard next to him who will make his job a little less stressful too.
