3 Michigan football games I'm particularly looking forward to in 2024

There's no shortage of exciting games on the Wolverines schedule this fall, but there's three games that I'm especially looking forward to.

Michigan football enters the 2024 season with one of the most difficult schedules in all of college football. The usual Big Ten foes all await the Wolverines including a trip to Columbus and hosting Sparty in Ann Arbor.

However, there are two newcomers to the Big Ten and a non-conference game vs an SEC power that I cannot wait for and will have major implications on the success of Michigan's season.

1. Texas

The University of Texas comes to town week 2 of the college football season. They will be playing in the Big House on Fox's Big Noon Kickoff. The atmosphere will be absolutely electric as two of the biggest brands in college football face off.

This is the definition of a helmet game as the sheer sight of the longhorn and the winged helmet puts goosebumps on my skin. Quinn Ewers will lead a prolific Texas offense that has national championship aspirations after falling just short last year. The Texas offense vs the Michigan defense is a true strength-on-strength match-up and will provide a great measuring stick for the defense. This will mark the second matchup ever between these two with the Longhorns prevailing in the first game by one point.

Prediction: Michigan 27 Texas 24.
