Michigan basketball fans won't have any problem passing the time until the Super Bowl kicks off. That's because there are two massive games on tap for the Wolverines.

For starters, the Michigan men's basketball team will travel to Columbus, aiming for a season sweep over the Buckeyes after a recent 12-point win in Ann Arbor, 74-62.

Michigan dominated on the glass and in the paint, a formula that the Wolverines should be able to repeat on Sunday. The Wolverines struggled from the 3-point line in the first matchup, but the defense and rebounding basically made it so it didn't matter.

Ohio State does have a dynamic offense. Bruce Thornton is one of the best scorers in the Big Ten. John Mobley went off for 22 points in the first game, while Devin Royal and Christoph Tilly are two other names to know.

The Vegas oddsmakers are favoring the Wolverines, though. Michigan has covered the spread in back-to-back games, which includes a 12-point road win over Michigan State last Friday.

Michigan head coach Dusty May is 2-0 against the Buckeyes. The Wolverines are a 9.5-point favorite to improve that record to 3-0 on Sunday.

Michigan women's basketball playing for first place

The Michigan women's basketball team has a top-10 matchup at 3 PM EST (FS1), right after Michigan plays Ohio State in men's basketball at 1 PM EST (CBS).

Led by Syla Swords and Olivia Olson, the 20-3 Wolverines (10-1) will host UCLA (22-1, 11-0) in a battle for first place in the Big Ten. Michigan women's basketball can pull even in the league standings, and beating the Bruins would be a signature win for Kim Barnes Arico.

It could even vault the Wolverines into the conversation of getting a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The latest projections have them as a two seed. Lauren Betts and Kiki Rice led a UCLA team that is ranked third for a reason, but this should be an epic clash.
