Viral clip of Bryce Underwood at Michigan spring ball has fans talking
This kid is going to be incredibly special for Michigan in the future, isn't he? Goodness, he's already looking the part of a college signal-caller. It's easy to forget that Underwood is still supposed to be in high school and getting ready for graduation.
Instead, he graduated early and arrived in Ann Arbor early to get a head start on his prep for the 2025 season. Participating in spring ball and learning the offense is going to be massive for his development. It's also going to give him an ever better chance of winning the starting job this summer.
Leading up to fall camp, there are going to be high expectations for Underwood and rightfully so. The No. 1 player in the country for the 2025 class, he was Baton Rouge-bound for a while, but Michigan was able to pull off arguably the biggest flip of the decade, breaking LSU hearts in the process.
Underwood is fully going to be in the hunt to win the QB1 spot ahead of Week 1. You can throw his age out the window. It doesn't matter if he's a true freshman or a fifth-year senior. The best player will be given the keys to the offense by Sherrone Moore. It's still incredibly early in the process and we're still in March, but Michigan fans have every right to be excited about this young man.
