While many were surprised at the outcome of the Super Bowl, it was a great night for two former Michigan football players who ended up winning world championships with the Eagles.

One of them is Brandon Graham. He helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl a few years ago and had a late sack in the game on former Michigan football quarterback Tom Brady to help seal the win.

After being hurt early in the season, Graham returned to the field Sunday night and was activated for the game last night. Graham is one of the Eagles' leaders and he did get on the field in the 40-22 Super Bowl win. He was credited with one tackle.

The other former Michigan football player to get a Super Bowl ring was Trevor Keegan. The multi-year starter for the Michigan Wolverines played a huge role in all three of Michigan's Big Ten championships and the national championship. Keegan played in just one game for Philly this season but served as a backup.

Michigan women's basketball scores a huge rivalry win

After a blowout loss recently to Michigan State, the Michigan women's basketball team got its revenge on Sunday with a 71-61 road win over Sparty, thanks in part to a 22-point fourth quarter.

As they. have all season, Michigan got standout performances from Syla Swords and Olivia Olson. Swords finished with 19 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Olson pitched in with 14 points and seven boards, while freshman guard Mia Holloway also reached double figures with 10 points and five assists.

Michigan women's basketball is now 18-7 overall and 8-5 in the Big Ten. The Michigan Wolverines also won at Nebraska last week, another team projected to make the NCAA tournament, so the Wolverines should keep trending up in terms of their projected NCAA seed.
