Michigan is now just one win away.

In the Final Four, everyone expected a close meeting between the Wolverines and Arizona, but Michigan dominated from start to finish, posting a lopsided win. Next up is a dance with Dan Hurley and the UConn Huskies. Is another dominant win coming?

Michigan, Dusty May land 5-star commit in the middle of destroying Arizona

That's what plenty of people think will be the case and the opening odds for that contest sure will give the Michigan faithful another reason to feel confident. According to the FanDuel Sportsbook, Michigan has opened favored by 6.5 points, with -275 moneyline odds. Will the Big Ten side end up cutting down the nets come Monday night?

Michigan has opened favored by 6.5 points over UConn in the national title game

After the way Michigan and Dusty May owned Arizona, everyone back home in Ann Arbor has got to be pretty dang fired up. Hurley and UConn are riding high right now too, though, as this no question is going to be a fun matchup. Will UConn be able to keep things close?

That's a question that we'll get answered soon enough, but hey, don't be shocked if Michigan wins it all and does so in style. And should that happen, it would indeed bring to an end the 37-year drought of Michigan men's basketball winning the natty.

The last time it happened? Yup, the Fab Five got that job done and funny enough, those Michigan legends were watching the action vs. Arizona live too. Previously, Yaxel Lendeborg said he wanted this group to be remembered as the best Michigan team of all time and he's one win away from making this a serious conversation.

Speaking of Lendeborg, his performance vs. Arizona was heroic, as he battled through an ankle injury and an MCL sprain. His goal was to power UM over 'Zona and now he's got one more win on his mind. Yup, Michigan, per the oddsmakers, is in great shape to close out the season with a bang - and if it happens, campus is going to be one huge party for weeks.
