Michigan football head coach has had nothing but positive things to say about Donaven McCulley, the Indiana transfer who will be the No. 1 wide receiver for the Wolverines this season.

Not only is he wearing the No. 1 this season for Michigan football, a number usually reserved for great players. Moore said that McCulley earned the number with his play this spring. At times, Moore said, McCulley reminded the coaching staff of Nico Collins.

On Monday, McCulley met with the media and laid out some of his expectations for the 2025 season. As a wideout, McCulley who had 744 yards with Indiana back in 2024, said he would like to go over 1,000 yards this season with at least 10 touchdowns.

“At least 1k (yards) and 10 touchdowns," McCulley said via Anthony Broome of The Wolverine.

Those are McCulley's personal goals. His team goals are simple: "Win every game."

How likely are the goals to be achieved?

Michigan football has had a wide receiver get over 1,000 yards since the 2013 season. McCulley is 6-foot-5 and has a chance to be the most dynamic receiver the Wolverines have had in years.

If he lives up to that, the second goal of winning every game becomes more realistic. If the Wolverines have a 1,000-yard receiver, that would be a good sign that Bryce Underwood is living up to the hype.

If he does that, even as a freshman, this team can win every game on its schedule. Road games against USC, Oklahoma, and Nebraska won't be easy. Neither will defeating Ohio State in Ann Arbor, but if the offense has a legit No. 1 wide receiver and a big-time quarterback in Underwood, anything is possible this season.

That includes winning every game.
