Dusty May isn't wasting any time when it comes to building the 2026-27 roster. Michigan basketball is already in the mix for some of the top players available in the transfer portal.
One of those is already expected to visit Michigan this weekend.

It was heen reported by multiple outlets that the Wolverines will host Juke Harris this weekend. Josh Henschke of the Maize and Blue Review confirmed it.
The 6-foot-7 wing from Wake Forest would be a great replacement for Yaxel Lendeborg. He's not the same player, especially not on the defensive end, but there isn't a carbon copy for Yaxel.
Harris is a dominant scorer, though. He averaged 21.4 points per game last season for the Demon Deacons, earning all-ACC honors. He was the ACC's Most Improved Player, too.
Wake Forest played Michigan basketball this season, so both sides are familiar with each other. Harris connected on 33 percent of his 3-point attempts as a volume shooter, who averages 7.5 3-point attempts per game, making 2.5. He shoots 44 percent overall on 15 shot attempts per game.
Another thing to like about Harris is that he earns 7.1 free-throw attempts. He can create his own shot, while also acting as a secondary playmaker with 1.9 assists per game. He also pulled down 1.3 steals per game, and the fourth-most defensive rebounds in the ACC.
The fact that he's visiting Michigan shows both sides are serious. There is a glaring hole at the three in the lineup. Brandon McCoy could have a say there, but rather than rely solely on a freshman, May could land one of the top scorers in the transfer portal.
That's the thinking, at least. He did score 19 points on the Wolverines back in November. May must have liked what he saw.
