According to Hayes Fawcett, Four-Star RB Deshonne Redeaux is down to six schools. Among them are the Wolverines, joined by Washington, UCLA, USC, Oregon, and Georgia. Being a West Coast kid from Carson, California, there's no wonder why some programs made this list.

247 Sports said the following about his high school career and speed; "Redeaux is a two-sport athlete who doubles as one of the fastest sprinters in the state. Had personal bests 10.42-100m and 21.32-200m but is sitting out his sophomore track season due to a late season football injury."

Redeaux joins the growing list of 2026 Running backs that have shown interest in the Wolverines. Among those are Savion Hiter and Javian Osborne. Hiter and Osorne are each ranked in the top 100 of the 247 Sports composite rankings. Michigan football is hosting each elite running back for an official visit this summer. The Wolverines are also leading in each of those recruitments according to some recruiting experts.

I personally believe the kid has too much hype going for him on the West Coast, not to mention Michigan's standing with other elite prospects as well. It should come as no surprise Michigan football is near the top of his recruitment though, as the running game is the pinnacle of the Michigan offense. Also, who wouldn't want to play side-by-side with Bryce Underwood? USC and UCLA are the teams to beat according to the On3 prediction machine.

Michigan football is among the top five according to the On3 prediction machine but that could change over the summer and it will be interesting to see if Redeaux takes an official visit or not.
