The Michigan football team is ready to take down Wisconsin on Saturday, but that's not the only focus for head man Sherrone Moore. Keep in mind that there are plenty of visitors on campus to watch this Big Ten tilt, but a new name was added a bit last minute.
That'd be four-star cornerback Jamarion Vincent, who is currently a Baylor commit. However, Moore and the Wolverines have been making him a top priority for quite some time now and they're hoping a flip can get recorded this weekend. Will Michigan be able to change his mind while the elite prospect is in Ann Arbor?
4-star Baylor commit Jamarion Vincent is at Michigan for a last-minute visit
Vincent has been committed to Baylor since late January, but that hasn't stopped other teams from continuing to work to change his mind. This includes Michigan, with Moore clearly being a fan of his game. Vincent is a Waco, Texas product, which is why it's going to be tough for Michigan to get him to leave the area.
However, Moore is hoping to sell him on the incredible tradition of the program, while also showcasing that the environment at the Big House is second to none when it comes to support. Will that be enough for Vincent to have a change of heart?
According to the 247Sports Composite, Vincent is ranked four stars and the No. 14 cornerback in the country. Texas, Houston, Nebraska, Texas Tech and many others have put offers on the table for him, but there's been some recent buzz surrounding Michigan.
It goes without saying, but getting the 6-2, 170-pounder in town for his official visit is pretty big news. Now, Moore is going to want to take things to the next level and see if there's something that can be done about the status of his current verbal. Only time will tell if a switch is made, but Michigan is no question in the hunt to make something happen here.
