Just about everything went according to plan for Michigan football against Central Michigan. However, one thing that didn't happen was the return of Rod Moore.
Before his suspension, Sherrone Moore said there was a "high probability" that Moore would play against Central Michigan. Yet, the two-time All-Big Ten safety ended up not playing.

- Rod Moore could’ve played against CMU and high probability he plays vs. Nebraska.
-OL Brady Norton will practice this week and has a good chance to play.
- OL Gio El-Hadi is out for a couple more weeks.
Michigan hasn't wanted to rush Moore back from injury. Yet, it appears that his return will happen this week, against Nebraska, according to Michigan football interim head coach Biff Poggi, who echoed what Sherrone Moore said, that there was a "high probability" Rod Moore would play this week against Nebraska. Poggi also said he "expected" Moore to play.
Facing a quarterback in Nebraska's Dylan Raiola who is second in the Big Ten in passing yards, to go along with eight touchdowns and zero interceptions, getting Rod Moore back would be ideal for the secondary.
It would have been nice to get him some game action before the Nebraska game. Who knows how many snaps he can play or how many the coaching staff feels comfortable in letting him play? Either way, he's capable of quarterbacking the secondary, which could be critical against Raiola and a dynamic pass offense.
Michigan offensive line injury updates
The Wolverines were missing two starters on the offensive line against Central Michigan, and at least one of those players, Giovanni El-Hadi, will miss the Nebraska game. Poggi said he would be "out a couple weeks."
Brady Norton, the other starting guard for Michigan football, is going to practice this week, and "has a good chance to play," according to Poggi.
Jake Guarnera started in his place last week. Nathan Efobi started for El-Hadi.
