3. Dominic Zvada made history

The Arkansas State transfer has been a bright spot in a crude season. He drilled three field goals on Saturday and improved his stats to 13 of 14 field goals made on the season. His only miss was a block in the Illinois loss from short distance. For those keeping score at home, he's 19-20 on extra points too. On Saturday he matched his career high with a 56-yard boot that looked effortlessly for him.

The history that Zvada made was that he connected on his fifth field goal from 50-plus yards, which is a new program record. Jake Moody may have some company at the top once Zvada's career is over in the maize and blue. He is now 93% for the year and still has a year of eligibility remaining if he wishes to further his Michigan football career. He was not named to the 2024 Lou Groza semi-finalist list.

Jordan Marshall sparked the kick return game with some nice returns on Saturday. He nearly broke one or two and may lose his redshirt in the process. Tommy Doman booted it 56 yards on one punt, which were pretty much all season-highs across the board for the senior.
