2. Michigan football is in worse shape then Florida State
The question has to be asked if Michigan football fans would rather be 1-6 or even winless at this point of the season. It's not where anyone wants to be or expected to be after seven games, but there are a pair of goals that the maize an blue can still accomplish this season. Beating Michigan State and making a bowl game are achievable as dire as the outlook is going.
That makes this an overreaction, unless you want to be a Seminole supporter. Sherrone Moore won't get fired after one year, but Mike Norvell might be get let go. No matter what anyone says we have to see what Moore can do with a legit quarterback at control of his offense. Then there's this gem below. To counter that, some will scream that he should have already had one on the roster and that is an acceptable argument. I'll delve into that more on my next overreaction.
In 99% of cases, firing a coach after one year is dumb. But Michigan’s situation is in the 1%. Sherrone Moore is as unproven and unqualified as any Michigan football coach in the history of the program. You don’t have to commit multiple years to this experiment.

A win over Michigan State wouldn't save the season at all, but it's what this program needs right now. It's a measuring stick game to see where both first-year coaches stand. I can only imagine the pure outrage if Moore loses this contest at home in front of an already disgruntled crowd.
