The Game means more to the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Last year, it didn't go the way that the Wolverines had hoped, but there's a new coach in town and a little extra motivation as a cherry on top.
Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin had quite an opinion on last season's matchup, something that the Wolverines are going to be able to use as fuel.
"We weren't really feeling a ton of pressure. We know how much it means to the state of Ohio and to our fanbase, but, you know, walking into that stadium, it was just a ton of fun," Sayin said.
Michigan Wolverines can use Julian Sayin's words as fuel
Sayin was sharing all of this with legendary Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer when he joined him on his podcast, The Triple Option.
"You know, just a bunch of juice, off the bat, and after that, it just felt like we were just in control," Sayin said.
The game obviously went in the Buckeyes' favor, with Ohio State securing a 27-9 victory over Michigan. However, saying all of this with another rivalry matchup just months in the future is asking for the Wolverines to exact revenge.

Sayin, of course, barely mentioned the interception that he threw to start The Game, a blemish on his low-pressure performance.
Not to mention, the Wolverines are now led by head coach Kyle Whittingham, and he brought in a slew of additional talent to the program. Michigan is not the same team that it was last year, and The Game will not have the same result that it did last year.

The Wolverines can make Sayin eat his own words with their on-field performance, instead of off-field talk.
