2. Purdue Fort Wayne's rebound total is not a misprint
48-17 was the final count. It's a season low for the Mastodons. Danny Wolf almost single-handedly outrebounded the Mastodons by himself. He notched a baker's dozen, on an otherwise off day for the point forward. The Mastodons had no one on their roster that played that was taller then six foot, nine inches.
Purdue Fort Wayne fed off of Michigan's turnovers. They put in 19 points off of the 18 turnovers. Wolf had a team-high again with four. Unfortunately, the turnover bug appears here to stay for a team that just can't shake it. Michigan basketball doubled the Mastodons in the paint as well with six points less than Purdue Fort Wayne had all day.
Besides Jalen Jackson's 10 buckets from the hardwood, Purdue Fort Wayne only managed 11 made baskets. 58 points is not their lowest output of the season however, nor was it the least amount that Michigan's defense has allowed through 12 games. You would think that there shooting percentage would have been below 30% based on their shooting statistics alone.
