2. The Wolverines won despite zero points from its leading scorer

Tre Donaldson had his worst night since transferring to Ann Arbor. He was 0-7 from the floor and 0-3 from deep. He did bring down seven boards, but was scoreless for the first time since February 2023. Donaldson has been in double digits in every game except the Virginia Tech win in Fort Meyers.

He was aided by his 7-foot teammates. Vlad Goldin and Danny Wolf picked up where they left off last Thursday in Florida. They have a combined 82 points in the last two outings. Wolf shot 64% from the field and was perfect from the free-throw line. He's playing like a legitimate lottery pick. Goldin had three blocks for the fourth time out this year, while Michigan recorded 11 as a team, compared to Wisconsin's two.

The bench wasn't much help either. Will Tschetter and Rubin Jones were the only two who scored any points. Jones fouled out in just 16 minutes. A total of four Wolverines went scoreless on Tuesday night. That was the first time that happened this season.
