3. Someone besides a starter was the leading scorer
Will Tschetter recorded 17 for a season high on hump day. It was the first time this season that I can remember, that someone other then a starter has scored the most points. Usually we are talking about Vlad Goldin going for 20 plus or Danny Wolf breaking his own, personal records that last for a short period of time anyways.
Wolf and Goldin totaled the highest output of points 13 times this season. Before Wednesday night they have been the leader in points in seven out of the last eight games. Tre Donaldson broke that chain in the Penn State win.
Not a work of art, but another Big Ten win for Michigan.

Tschetter's previous high was 15 and all-time high at Michigan was 20 against the Youngstown State Penguins in November 2023. Only three other Wolverines saw the floor on Wednesday off the bench and all of them went a combined 0-5.
