ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit has seen his fair share of haters in the last few years, from Florida State fans to even now, Ohio State fans, the fans of the school he once played for. Now that he was seen wearing Michigan gear for his son, Ohio State fans may not give him any more favor.
Herbstreit was seen at the annual Maize and Blue game supporting his son, Chase Herbstreit, who is getting ready to play his first season at Michigan this fall. The son of the former Ohio State quarterback committed to the Wolverines to the shock of many, especially going against his father's Alma Mater.
As a three-star recruit, Chase Herbstreit, who will be battling 5-star recruit Bryce Underwood, transfer Mikey Keene, and Jadyn Davis. Herbstreit also won't be enrolled at Michigan toll the summer, but still got some time with the Wolverines this spring.

Kirk Herbstreit seen wearing Michigan gear at Michigan's spring game
Herbstreit has most likely angered the Ohio State fan base by wearing the Michigan Maize and Blue in support of his son. Herbstreit has not been a favorite alumnus of Ohio State in the past couple of years, especially after he called out Buckeyes Nation for their "lunatic fringe" and even questioned how the fans could let Tennessee take over their stadium during the first round of the College Football Playoff.
The Ohio State fan base would not be upset about just any other school that Herbstreit would wear, but since it is Michigan, that is what might ruffle some feathers. The Ohio State and Michigan rivalry is one that is known as one of the most hated rivalries in college sports.

Terrible look for a Buckeye player to wear TTUN gear. And don’t give the excuse of his kid. He knows the rivalry and what it means. It’s not a good look at all.

During the week of the game, when Michigan heads to Columbus, Buckeye fans cross out anything with an "M" on it while Michigan fans shout "Go Big Blue" everywhere they go.
Herbstreit was simply just supporting his son at his first-ever spring game, so if Ohio State fans want to get upset about that, they may want to check their priorities. However, Michigan fans will never tire of seeing Ohio State fans angry.
