The 2025 NFL schedules are out and for every rookie, they now know where they will get to play in their first season. Some rookies are going to come face-to-face with players they have watched play for years, some will come face-to-face with former teammates from college, and a small few will face off against their former college head coaches.
Kenneth Grant will experience every single one of those new experiences starting from the very beginning of the week, but there is one game he probably already had circled. Grant will welcome his former college head coach, Jim Harbaugh, and the Los Angeles Chargers to his new home in Hard Rock Stadium with the Miami Dolphins in Week 6.
It was projected that Grant could potentially be taken by the Chargers in the draft, and the former Michigan Wolverines expressed how much it would mean to him to play under Harbaugh again, but the Dolphins got to him first, and the rest is now history.
Grant will also face off against another Michigan 2025 first-round pick the following week when the Dolphins take on the Cleveland Browns and Mason Graham. While Grant and Graham won't actually face off against each other on the field, both will have a chance to get at each other's quarterbacks.
While in his first rookie mini-camp, Grant was one of the rookies who impressed the coaching staff the most. He did have to be warned to slow down a bit and take things in a bit slower because there will come a time when he won't get a chance to slow down.
Other than slowing down a bit, Grant has impressed with his physical speed and agility on the field for his size. He will be able to show all of this off come the first game of the season, and even show it off to some former Wolverines throughout the season.
