There are a lot of questions facing the Michigan football team heading into Saturday's must-win game against Washington.

One of the biggest, though, is whether or not Justice Haynes, the leading rusher in the Big Ten, will be able to play on Saturday for the Wolverines.

On Friday night, Pete Nakos of Rivals reported that Haynes would be a game-time decision. Sherrone Moore said earlier this week that he "felt good" about Haynes being able to play, yet the Michigan football head coach also said Haynes was "questionable."

Haynes is questionable on the official injury report, so we won't know until kickoff. Marlin Klein is also out in a surprise. Trey Pierce and Brady Norton are questionable for the game, too.

Jordan Marshall ran the ball well in Haynes absence last week, with 12 carries for 61 yards. Yet, Haynes has four runs this season of longer than 50 yards. That explosive ability was missed and could be used against a tough Washington defense.

Final odds and predictions for Michigan football vs. Washington

Michigan football was a six-point favorite, yet it has been trending in the way of the Huskies. DraftKings has the odds at -4.5 in favor of Michigan. The over/under is 50.5. The moneyline is -198 for Michigan and +164 for the Huskies.

Predictions have been mixed at this point. My bold predictions have Michigan winning the game, but I'm not overly confident in that prediction. The Wolverine.com crew had five of its six writers predicting the outcome in favor of the Wolverines. Six of the seven writers over at Maize and Brew also predicted a win for Michigan football over Washington.

What's clear is that the Wolverines' backs are against the wall. Michigan fans are hoping that means we see a team playing with urgency, like their season is on the line, because it is.

If Michigan plays like that, it should win the game. But we shall see. Either way, this might be the most important game of the Sherrone Moore era so far.
