Kenneth Grant came out of high school as a 4-star recruit out of Merrillville, Indiana, and the No. 47 defensive lineman in the country. Former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh saw something special in Grant and gave him his start in college football, signing him to the Wolverines in the Class of 2022.

Now, three years later, Grant is getting ready to head to the NFL and awaits to see where he will go. Many national publications have Grant going in the first round, but the most popular place he is slated to go is the Los Angeles Chargers, where Harbaugh just so happens to be the head coach.

There could be a reunion in Los Angeles for Harbaugh and Grant, and it is something Grant would very much like to see, has even said it would mean a lot to him to get to play for Harbaugh again in an interview with Matthew Barrie on "Sportscenter."

"It would mean a lot, aside from football, he's a great coach," Grant said. "Great person in general, there's so much to relate to."

Kenneth Grant wants to be apart of the 'winning mentality' program that Jim Harbaugh builds

Grant had a lot of success at Michigan, a lot of it thanks to Harbaugh, due to the type of program he ran. The Indiana native said there was just something about how Harbaugh went about everything that just made him want to be his player.

"he knew my potential, I could have, and things that I could do," Grant said. "He saw the light in me, it was all about winning for him, all about winning that National championship, winning rivalry games, and that's something I wanted to be a part of."

Grant certainly got to partake in all those things, from winning a National Championship to beating Ohio State numerous times and even just having a winning record while in college. The 6-foot-3, 339-pound defensive tackle finished his Michigan career with his best season with 32 total tackles, 18 solo tackles, five passes defended, and three sacks.

Michigan is projected to have more than just Grant going in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Grant could join Mason Graham, Colston Loveland, and maybe even Will Johnson as Wolverines going in the draft tonight. Tune in to see which Michigan players' dreams come true and if Grant will reunite with Harbaugh tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC for the first round of the draft.
