Dominic Zvada

When the strength of your team is defense, having an elite kicker is a weapon. Michigan has that in Dominic Zvada who would have been drafted had he entered the 2025 NFL Draft.

Getting him back for another season was a boon for the Wolverines. Zvada made two clutch kicks against Ohio State, plus delivered in the ReliaQuest Bowl with four field goals.

The 54-yard field goal he hit in Columbus before halftime to tie the score of "The Game" in 2024 turned the tide. It was just three points, but felt much bigger than that then, and in hindsight.

it's going to be hard for opposing offenses to reach 20 points this season, so anytime the offense can get three points, it's a big deal. And with Zvada, that means reaching the opponent's 40-yard line.

We saw what a weapon Justin Tucker was for the Ravens over the years, especially in late-game situations. All I know is that I'm glad Zvada is on Michigan's team.
