Justice Haynes and Jordan Marshall

It seemed pointless to write separate sections about Jordan Marshall and Justice Haynes. They will be tied at the hip this season as they are running back 1A and 1B.

Predicting who will get the most carries/yards will be difficult. Haynes averaged 5.9 yards per carry with Alabama. He didn't get a chance to carry the ball enough, which is something Michigan will rectify this season.

Marshall, a former top-50 recruit from the state of Ohio, rushed for 100 yards against Alabama. He did that without any threat of a passing attack, especially in the second half.

Imagine what he'll do with a legit offensive coordinator and a legit threat at quarterback. Marshall feels like he'll have a 1,000 yards this season. Haynes won't be far behind though. Both backs will produce and with their dynamic ability, Michigan can't afford to miss either for any amount of time in 2025, which is why the workload needs to be shared as evenly as possible.
