Michigan basketball has multiple point guards

Dusty May has talked about how he wants to play multiple point guards and he's got a couple of great options already.

Cason looks like he could be a starter if the Wolverines needed him to be. But man, Tre Donaldson was flawless in his Michigan basketball debut. After connecting on a corner three on the assist from Cason, Donaldson was 3-for-3 from the field, 6-for-6 from the free throw line, and had six assists to go along with 13 points and zero turnovers. He made another triple to finish 4-for-4 from deep and didn't miss a shot on his way to 16 points.

While Michigan basketball's starting lineup produced 14 assists, the Vikings had one (five total). Seriously. One. That's incredible defense. That speaks volumes to the work done by Donaldson/Cason guarding the ball, as well as the communication on screens.

But the way that the offense was zipping the ball around is a credit to playing multiple guards who can create, score, and distribute.
