The countdown keeps shrinking, as Michigan and Dusty May are headed to Indianapolis for the Final Four. The Wolverines are the new favorites to win it all, as Duke somehow blew a 19-point lead to UConn in the Elite Eight.

Michigan and Dusty May predicted to land 5-star playmaker for 2026 class

Next up for the Wolverines is a monster showdown with Arizona, which is going to have a national title feel to it. May knows this is going to be a war, but he's also feeling quite confident leading up to tipoff. His comments to fans confirmed that, as he delivered quite the passionate message before the Wolverines hit the road:

Dusty May is ready for Michigan to take down Arizona and push for a national title

May likely has countless people ready to run through a wall right now, as everyone is ready to see what will happen between the Wolverines and Wildcats. Arizona provides the toughest challenge yet, as Tommy Lloyd has his guys looking downright sensational.

Koa Peat, Braydon Burries and others are going to give Michigan all sorts of troubles. However, could the Lloyd-to-UNC rumors end up being a major distraction for the team leading up to this one? Who knows, but Lloyd continues to do his best to throw cold water all over things.

That's not something for Michigan to be concerned about, as Yaxel Lendeborg and Co. know what's at stake and the entire locker room also knows that it has to be at its best to post a win. There are plenty of Michigan doubters out there who think Arizona will cruise to a victory, but we respectfully disagree with that.

In the Elite Eight, the Wolverines dominated Tennessee, ruining Rick Barnes' dream of potentially leading the Vols to the Final Four for the first time. Lendeborg was brilliant in that contest and now he's expected to give 'Zona all sorts of issues too. Soon enough we'll find out if that happens or not, but May knows his group has what it takes to not only beat Arizona, but then go on to win it all as well.
