Dusty May didn't pull any punches when asked about Michigan State's dirty play

Michigan State fans have complained about the officials, but Michigan basketball is the one with the legitimate complaint.

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo cried about the officials on Friday night, after the Spartans' 12-point home loss to Michigan, essentially giving the officials more credit than the Wolverines.

Izzo also blew by Michigan basketball head coach Dusty May in the handshake line, and Spartan fans have now resorted to calling May a cheater for landing talented players from the transfer portal.

It all sounds like sour grapes. Michigan won by double-digits in the Breslin Center because it played lock-down defense down the stretch and neutralized the Spartans' advantage on the board. Elliot Cadeau and others also made big shots.

Jeremy Fears made a few, but more than anything, he revealed once again that he's cheap, just like Izzo, for calling out the refs, who actually did a terrible job of holding the Spartans accountable for all the crap they pulled on Friday, Fears chief among them.

Fears was called for a flagrant foul. Frankly, he shouldn't have been allowed to finish the game after numerous, blatant attempts at tripping Yaxel Lendeborg weren't called.

"There are several plays that are very dangerous. ... Film's there. Forty minutes of it. It's not hard to find," Michigan head coach Dusty May said via Alejandro Zuniga on X.

The flagrant called on Fears was dirty, but it wasn't nearly as dirty as the attempts to trip and injury Lendeborg, such as this instance right here:

When you trip someone intentionally like this, it can and should be called a flagrant foul. This wasn't whislted. The conduct isn't the least bit surprising if you have followed the Michigan State basketball program under Izzo. This is par for the course.

Yet, Izzo and MSU fans have the nerve to act like they got robbed.

No, the refs let them off easy. And Michigan still won the game by double-digits.
