We are living in a simulation! That is just fact at this point in time. Regardless of what you think of it, the world continues to be a crazy place. After only one year at North Carolina State, former McNeese and LSU head coach Will Wade is calling Baton Rouge. He received a seven-year deal before Matt McMahon was even let go from his post... This led to Connor Stalions having a blast with it over on X.
The disgraced former Michigan staffer compared Wade to Bobby Petrino using a Kevin Garnet GIF.

Yes, "anything is possible" on this current timeline we all reside upon. Wade going back to LSU after his wiretap recruiting scandal is the wildest thing since Petrino went back to Arkansas after wrecking his hog to go call plays for Sam Pittman's Hogs. Yessir, he became the interim head coach once Pittman inevitably failed. Impossible is nothing, but do not try to tell Garnett or anyone else that logic.
Clearly, Michigan wants to move past Stalions and the Jim Harbaugh era, but this keeps popping up...

Let's be real with ourselves. There are few people across college sports more disliked than Petrino. People in Arkansas do not care for him. People in Atlanta still despise him. At best, people in Louisville tolerate him. Wade coming back to LSU is something else... He now joins an athletics department that has polarizing figures already inside it in Lane Kiffin and Kim Mulkey. What could possibly go wrong?
Over the last few years, Michigan has seen a few of their own leave for different reasons. Jim Harbaugh and Juwan Howard may have starred at Michigan during their undergrad years, but neither are still around. Dusty May has assembled a college basketball power, while Kyle Whittingham looks to do the same over on the college football gridiron. Will he have enough time? It remains to be seen...
In the end, Stalions did make a salient point. If Petrino can go back to Arkansas roughly a decade after what transpired there with his scandal, anything can happen. What is shame, really? While most of the Harbaugh era of Michigan football is not coming back to Ann Arbor anytime soon, at least Stalions has a blossoming career ahead of him as an elite X troll. Never change, Lane. Never change...
For now, it is a rough day to be an LSU fan who views themselves as one who has impeccable morals.
