Shortly into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Mason Graham was drafted by the Cleveland Browns at pick No. 5. This comes as no surprise to many of the mock drafters across the internet, with Graham going top five in nearly all of them.

The Browns already have one of the most dominant ends in the NFL in Myles Garrett, so adding Graham creates a nightmare duo on the defensive line. A lot of teams are going to have to pick their poison on who to double-team come next season.

Measuring 6’3” and weighing in at 315 pounds, Graham’s run-stopping abilities, along with his background in wrestling, have helped him assert dominance over many offenses over the last 3 years. His signature move, which is a combo of a quick swim move followed by an explosive push, has made him one of the best defensive linemen in college football.

The Michigan Wolverines’ defensive lineman accrued 60 solo tackles and 48 assisted tackles in his three-year collegiate career. Of the 108 total tackles, 18 of those were tackles for loss, and he also had nine sacks. Graham also had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

He was a big part of the Wolverines’ 2023 undefeated season during his sophomore year, totaling 36 combined tackles with 9 being tackles for loss and being named a second team All-American. In 2024 he had his best season stat-wise, posting 45 combined tackles and being unanimously selected as a Consensus All-American.
