Ohio State fans can't handle when Michigan football has success. It can be on the field or on the recruiting trail, regardless, Buckeye fans will always try to come up with an excuse.

That's why they have resorted to saying Michigan "cheated" to win a national championship, and beat their beloved Buckeyes four times in a row, because in their mind, there is no other possibility.

The idea that Ohio State just lost to a better team, with a better coach, isn't something they can wrap their minds around. That's why all this "cheating" and "hammer" talk can be described in two words: Sour grapes.

Ohio State fans, as delusional as they are, have expected the NCAA to "drop the hammer" on Michigan football over the investigation into (alleged) advanced scouting. Some expect wins to be vacated and a postseason ban -- so basically a death penalty -- for a minor violation that didn't aid Michigan's national championship, especially since Stallions wasn't on the sidelines for every important game that season, and Michigan won them all.

Ohio State fans want to forget that. After five-star EDGE Carter Meadows started trending to Michigan, which appears to have won a head-to-head battle over the Buckeyes, fans took to message boards, and one in particular, called Michigan, "desperate" in a reference to the Wolverines' NIL prowess.

That forced Wiltfong, the top college football recruiting analyst in the industry, to throw down some facts, according to a message board screenshot: "

"Michigan won the national title two years ago. I know they're your rival but the Wolverines are not a desperate program. They won three Big Ten titles in a row."

You can't argue with that, although Ohio State fans will, because just like on the field, they can't stand when Ohio State is defeated by Michigan.
