The Oklahoma Sooners will travel from Norman, Oklahoma, to Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Saturday for Big Noon Kickoff in The Big House. This is a pivotal matchup for both teams but seems especially important for the Wolverines. Although the ending was nothing short of incredible, Michigan had a pretty lackluster performance overall in week one. The anticipation of the game is starting to grow bigger and bigger by the moment, but before kickoff, we have a great gameday recipe, prop bet and beer for you to make your viewing experience even more enjoyable.
Gameday Recipe: Cheesesteaks
Cheesesteaks are a staple in our house during football season and pretty much year-round. They are super easy to make and taste amazing
Ingredients: Shaved ribeye, Cooper's Sharp white American cheese (or any sharp cheddar if you can't find Cooper's), Italian long hot peppers (these are very spicy, so if you don't do well with heat, do not use them), yellow onion, and sesame long roll bread.
Step 1: Place your onions and peppers in a pan of your choice (I use a cast iron skillet that I heat over my charcoal grill flame). Add butter for flavor and cook until they start to sauté.
Step 2: Move all of your onions and peppers to one side of the cast iron and place your shaved ribeye on the other side of the cast iron. Let the meat slowly start to brown.
Step 3: Once you get the meat to start browning, mix all of the peppers and onions together. Continue to mix until the meat is all the way cooked through and the vegetables are on the softer side. Make sure you don't keep everything on too long to the point the veggies are burning.
Step 4: Take the meat and veggies off the grill and place in a bowl. Quickly add your cheese to the bowl and let it naturally melt. Once melted, mix it all together.
Step 5: Assemble your sandwich. We like to ever so slightly toast our bread but you will want to make sure it is still soft to form the sandwich.
Step 6: Eat and enjoy!

Beer of the Week:
The beer of the week this week is an APA from Half Acre Brewing Company in Chicago. It is called Daisy Cutter and has an ABV of 5.2%. It has blended notes of pine, citrus, papaya, and mango, but is not sweet and has a dry finish. A really good beer to pair with cheesesteaks during a college football Saturday.
Prop Bet of the Week:
We have two prop bets for you this week. The first one is Jordan Marshall anytime touchdown scorer at +115. The second one is Andrew Marsh over 37.5 receiving yards at -115.
I like Jordan Marshall to find the end zone tomorrow for a couple of reasons. The first is that Michigan is going to want to run the ball. I think the coaching staff is going to go back to their roots of running the ball downhill to then open up the play-action passing game. I expect a heavier workload and more productivity from Marshall and Savion Hiter in this game.
When they get down towards the goal line, Marshall will be the one to punch it in. I like the second bet of Andrew Marsh over 37.5 receiving yards because he is simply too good not to play well in two games in a row.
Marsh had only two catches for fifteen yards in week one vs. Western Michigan. He also muffed a punt that resulted in a turnover. Andrew Marsh seems like he has one of the best mentalities on the team, and he will come out hungry. Marsh is also somebody that Bryce Underwood has a lot of chemistry and trust with. I think he gets involved early and has a shot to take the top off on a play-action pass or two. Hopefully, we get two prop bet winners and, more importantly, a Michigan Wolverine win on Saturday!
