A Michigan football tradition continues in EA Sports College Football 26 trailer

Michigan football has owned Ohio State over the past four years and the EA Sports team hasn't forgotten that in its trailer of College Football 26.

When it comes to the rivalry between Michigan football and Ohio State, there has been a dominant force over the past four years.

EA Sports hasn't forgotten about that fact and reinforced it once again in the trailer for the College Football 26 video game.

During the trailer for the upcoming video game, which will be released on July 10th, Bryce Underwood, the five-star quarterback signed by Michigan football in the 2025 class, was pictured spinning away from a sack and throwing a pass downfield against Ohio State, which transitioned to a USC receiver.

It was a small moment, but funny, nonetheless.

Michigan football tradition continues with Bryce Underwood being highlighted

Ohio State fans can and will get upset about it. But the Buckeyes haven't beaten Michigan football in over 2,000 days, so where is the lie?

Besides, it's a trailer for a video game. EA Sports also had Illinois upsetting Ohio State in the trailer for the 2025 edition of the game. Amazingly, Ohio State was able to overcome that for a successful season, except for the Michigan game, which Buckeye fans are now pretending not to care about.

As far as Michigan fans are concerned, if there were any, that were tepid on the release of the upcoming College Football 26, that has probably changed after seeing Underwood, who is also on the cover, being used in the game.

We have no idea how Underwood will perform against Ohio State when "The Game" rolls around, but if Underwood leads the Wolverines to yet another win over Ohio State, it won't be pretty, at least in Columbus.

Michigan players are used to being showcased on the front. Denard Robinson was the cover athlete in the past, just like Donovan Edwards last season, and Bryce Underwood this year.

The tradition continues.
