Ohio State fans keep lying to themselves about Michigan and it's only getting worse

Michigan football has broken the will of Ohio State fans to the point that some say "The Game" doesn't matter.

How can you tell that Michigan football broke the Ohio State fanbase?

Outside of the insane lies that come from every corner of the fanbase about the "Hammer" and "Cheating", which defy any sort of logic, the biggest clue that Michigan broke Ohio State's fanbase is the fact that some claim to not even care about beating Michigan anymore.

Certainly, not all fans fall into this sad subset of Ohio State supporters, but one gentleman, who has taken the time to cross out the M's in his handle, posting about how "The Game" doesn't matter anymore, is all you need to know.

Ohio State fans can't be honest about what happened or even honest with themselves.

It's like this particular Ohio State fan cares so much, he can't care anymore. He hates Michigan so much he can't bear to type the letter M, then has the audacity to tell Michigan football fans that "The Game" doesn't matter.

If you have ever wondered what denial looks like? This is it.

Ohio State fans are in denial about Michigan

Ohio State fans are so upset about Michigan beating their beloved Buckeyes four times in a row, some don't even care about the national championship.

One fan even wrote on a message board that he cared more about Michigan's national title being vacated, which isn't happening, than Ohio State winning it all in 2024.

That seems healthy.

Just as healthy as denying a result Michigan and Ohio State fans saw with their own eyes. No sanctions or penalties will wipe away the ass kicking the Buckeyes experienced at the hands of Michigan the past four years.

Ohio State might have won the national title, but the Buckeyes can't beat Michigan, and even though they will deny it, it has addled the brains of an entire fanbase.

Most of them anyway.
