The Michigan football injury report isn't as extensive for the Rutgers game as it was against Indiana, but it isn't a whole lot better.
One positive is that Jake Guarnera is listed as probable. He has been questionable for the past two weeks. He played in both games, but it's a good sign that his health is improving. Remember, we don't get NFL-style practice reports, so we don't know if there are any limitations in practice or not.
Troy Bowles is on the injury report. He wasn't on there last week. However, the starting linebacker is probable, so it doesn't seem like anything too concerning, although we have seen players go from probable to questionable.
Michigan starting offensive tackle Andrew Sprague is still out
Andrew Sprague has been ruled out. You wonder if he will be back at all this season. He is the only starter ruled out as of Wednesday night.
Dom Nichols, one of Michigan's best pass rushers, was out for the Indiana game, too. He's listed as questionable once again, along with John Henry Daley, Rod Moore, Jordan Young, Enow Etta and Blake Frazier.
Frazier also missed last week's game like Nichols. It will be interesting to see if either player can work their way back into the lineup this week. Without Frazier and Sprague, the Wolverines were forced to start freshman Marky Walbridge. He held his own, but there was a drop-off.
Andrew Babalola isn't on the injury report again. He's been healthy the past two weeks, but might not be ready to play after almost two years of not playing football.
Rutgers will be without starting quarterback

The bigger news is that Rutgers won't have starting quarterback Dylan Lonergan. AJ Surface will likely be the guy for the Scarlet Knights now. He has six touchdown passes and five interceptions. Surface has 539 passing yards and is completing 56 percent of his throws.
Surface is throwing interceptions on seven percent of his passes, so the Michigan football secondary should have a field day. They were the first to intercept Josh Hoover last week. Multiple interceptions this week shouldn't be a surprise.
It remains to be seen if the offense can get going. Tommy Carr is expected to be the starting quarterback. The Scarlet Knights did beat Maryland recently, but they have struggled to stop the run. If the Wolverines can't get it going this week, it will probably never happen.
