Two intriguing defenders landed on signing day

Owusu-Boateng was a big win for the Wolverines. He's ranked 130th overall. His brother also played at Notre Dame and was a second-round pick of the Browns.

Michigan was still able to beat out the Irish and Colorado for his commitment. Owusu-Boateng has work to do when it comes to taking on blockers but he can run, tackle, and cover. He's the definition of a run-and-hit linebacker.

Watching him close and hit people will get you excited. Michigan football also added a 6-foot-5, 250-pound pass rusher in Travis Moten. He's a low-ranked three-star out of Kentucky but had a really impressive senior season with 30 tackles for loss and 19.5 sacks.

Moten is a high school wrestler and while he's a bet on upside, Michigan football has had a lot of success with that kind of player in the past.
