Davis Warren got better during the bye week

Looking back, Michigan football should have never switched quarterbacks. Their instinct about Warren being the best quarterback of the bunch proved to be correct.

Warren threw the ball 35 times on Saturday and outside of the one interception, took care the the ball. With the defense playing as well as it is, Warren just needs to protect the ball and hit open guys when the chances arise.

He can't throw an interception next week. But he's been a different quarterback since coming off the bench. Warren will never be a star and if Colston Loveland isn't out there next week, that will hurt, but Warren is playing with confidence going into the Ohio State game which is really all you can ask.

Warren doesn't have to win the game. It's his job not to lose it and he did that on Saturday. Yes, it's Northwestern but the Wildcats defense is pretty solid and at this point, progress is progress.
