The health of Rod Moore
The indications continue to be that Rod Moore will play this season for Michigan football. We just don't know exactly when that will be.
There hasn't been any signs that he won't be ready for the opener. It feels like he will be ready to go for fall camp, although there are sure to be some restrictions.
We have heard that Moore is about "85 percent." The thing about Moore is that he knows the mental side of things. That won't be an issue. Just getting back into shape and getting confidence in the knee will be important before the season.
It makes sense that Michigan will ease him back into action. He might not be playing full time until the Big Ten conference season starts, but just having Rod Moore in uniform will be huge. How effective will he be? That's the question.
If Moore is anything close to the Rod Moore he was before the injury, than this defense will be even better than expected.
