5-star OL prospect wants to view Michigan football through player lens

You don't see this kind of request every day for official visits.

Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore has been very busy over the last few weeks with he number of official visits he has been setting up for the summer months for potential Class of 2026 recruits. However, there is one visit he may not even need to do a lot for as one prospect has an interesting request for when he comes to Ann Arbor.

Potential 5-star prospect Felix Ojo is making his official visit to Michigan on June 6 and while he is excited to see the campus and all the program has to offer, he doesn't want to see it from a coach's point of view, he wants to see it from the point of view of a player.

Talking with On3, Ojo said that he wants to take this official visit to really build a relationship with he players and see Michigan from their point of view, and that is really all he wants to do. He obviously will still spend time with the coaches and get to know them more as well, but why not try to build a relationship with the people who could potentially be your teammates in a year?

Ojo has already built a great relationship with Moore, who he himself used to be, both an offensive line coach and an offensive lineman when he played in college at Oklahoma. Michigan has always prided itself on producing elite players on both the offensive and defensive line, which is what Ojo has seen from his home in Texas.

Even though the Texas native would have to travel far from home to attend Michigan, the distance doesn't bother him. For Ojo, it all comes down to where he feels at home and a place where he can develop into a player who can play at the next level.

Michigan obviously isn't the only school after Ojo, as the Texas native has official visits set with Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and, of course, Texas as well.
