The defensive line keeps it competitive

There is one reason and one reason only that I believe Michigan football will be able to potentially keep things close on Saturday and that's the defensive line.

Indiana is better in the trenches than most people realize. There are talent limitations but the offensive line is physical and the sum is greater than the whole of its parts. That's what a good offensive line should look like and frankly, Michigan has more talent but is getting much less out of it.

That being said, Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant are going to have a day. Indiana doesn't have anyone who should be able to block them one-on-one, just like I don't think the Hoosiers will be able to block Derrick Moore and Josaiah Stewart.

Kurtis Rourke will still make it difficult to get sacks. He gets rid of the ball quickly, but if the defensive line is stout, which it will be, the Wolverines will keep it competitive.
