Michigan football is going to have its hands full on Saturday against No. 8 Indiana. The Hoosiers are 9-0 and fresh off a 47-10 win over Michigan State.

The Spartans scored the first 10 points in Bloomington last week, but then the Hoosiers crushed them by scoring the next 47. So keep that in mind Michigan football fans, if you think that the Hoosiers haven't played anybody.

They haven't beaten a ranked team. But Michigan football barely escaped against Michigan State. The Spartans outplayed the Wolverines for most of the game, but U-M pulled out a win. Indiana totally outclassed the Spartans and I'm worried they will do the same thing on Saturday.

Michigan football is a 14.5-point underdog going into Saturday and here are five predictions for the Wolverines as they try to play spoiler.

Indiana will start fast

The Hoosiers have been great all season at starting fast. They get a lead on their opponents, which allows their defense to be more aggressive. That has allowed them to take the ball away 1.8 times per game.

It would ideal if Michigan football got off to a fast start on Saturday, but we haven't seen it happen outside of maybe the USC and Minnesota games. Whether it's a turnover on defense, a big play on offense or something on special teams, the Wolverines could use a jolt of momentum.

But after Indiana fell behind 10-0 last week, the Hoosiers will be focused on starting fast. They will also be super motivated for this game. Teams like Indiana live to beat teams like Michigan, especially when the Wolverines are having a down year.

Hoosiers fans will be frothing and I wouldn't be surprised if Indiana scored an early touchdown or even went ahead by 10 points in the first quarter.
