5 predictions for Michigan football against No. 1 Oregon
Michigan football will hit a trick play again
The Wolverines haven't been super creative on offense this season and at times, it has been frustrating. Michigan football has started to execute better, it seems, but the Wolverines were held under 300 total yards of offense in back-to-back weeks.
Michigan did find its groove on offense against MSU. Davis Warren didn't throw an interception but he also seemed rather risk-adverse. Warren has to be more aggressive this week and he's got the talent to make some impressive throws.
I want to see the ball fed to Colston Loveland. But Oregon will be focused on him too, so some others will need to get involved. I'd love to see Donovan Edwards be a focal point in the passing game, but Michigan is going to ground and pound.
We should see more Alex Orji, hopefully earlier, and maybe the Wolverines will find a way to turn one of those QB power runs into a play-action pass. Or maybe Edwards will throw another ball, but I think we'll see the Wolverines convert another trick play -- one that isn't a flea-flicker.
