Malakai Lee, OT
One of my personal favorites in the 2026 class is offensive tackle Malakai Lee, who is the top-ranked recruit in the state of Hawaii, according to 247 Sports, which has him ranked 137th overall.
At 6-foot-6, 318 pounds, Lee has tons of upside. He's got long arms and is just prototypical. Here's part of his scouting report from Greg Biggins of 247 Sports:
"From a traits standpoint, offensive linemen don’t come much better looking than Lee. He’s all of 6-6, 325 pounds with verified 36” arms and an 85”+ wingspan. He’s a fluid mover as well and has the feet, balance, and frame to project as a tackle and could line up on either side, right or left in college."
Michigan football has the crystal ball lead for Lee going into the official visit. However, landing his commitment won't be easy. Georgia, Alabama, and Texas each got official visits.
This will be Lee's fourth visit to Michigan football, according to On3. That's two more visits than any other program in the mix. Hopefully, that will be enough to put the Wolverines over the top. They have a strong culture and are known for their offensive line development.
Those things should help. This is a highly-contested recruitment, though, and it's easy to see why.
